Wastely — The waste marketplace

A two-sided digital marketplace where low-income users sell their waste for cash, and mid-to-high income users buy upcycled products. Organic, plastic, textile, and e-waste all welcome.

Sort once. Earn more.

Sorted waste is worth significantly more to recyclers and processors than mixed waste. Greenloop's segmented bin is our physical entry point into households and institutions — a practical, elegant product that creates discipline at the source.

Every bin sold creates a new supply node for Wastely. A QR code on each bin links directly to a Wastely listing page, making it seamless for users to turn sorted waste into income.

40% of Nigeria's harvest is wasted. Not anymore.

Nigeria's agriculture sector contributes roughly 24% of GDP, yet fresh food farmers lose an enormous share of their produce to post-harvest damage — with no formal outlet.

Greenloop collects, sorts, and processes agricultural waste — converting it into compost sold to urban farms, biogas for households, and animal feed for agribusiness.

Profit with purpose

Greenloop is a for-profit business built on a social enterprise model. Every transaction on our platform generates income for low-income waste collectors, reduces landfill pressure, and contributes to Nigeria's circular economy goals.

Income generation

Cash for waste in low-income communities. Every listing on Wastely puts real money in the hands of people who need it most.

Climate action

Diverting waste from landfill and reducing methane emissions. Every kilogram in the Greenloop system stays out of the landfill.

Education

Green Edu programmes in schools and communities. We're building a generation that sees waste differently.

Green Edu

Teaching the next generation

Green Edu is Greenloop's educational arm — delivering interactive workshops and programmes to schools and communities across Nigeria. We make sustainability tangible: through hands-on composting sessions, recycling challenges, and climate literacy classes, we're building a generation that sees waste differently.
